Raising money for Georgie’s Gift and Nuneaton Round Table
Help break a World Record in Nuneaton!
Lee Welland from Total Powerbags Fitness is attempting to break a world record for the largest fitness circuit in a single venue and the most people doing simultaneous sit ups. The current record is 2061 people held in Australia. This can be beaten and at the same time raise some fantastic funds for Georgie’s Gift as well as Nuneaton Round Table Charities.
On Sunday 25th June, registration will be between 11:30am and 12.30pm with prompt start of the circuit at 13:00pm. The event will take place at Ambleside Sports Club, Ambleside Way, Nuneaton CV11 6AT. The circuit will cater for all fitness levels but needs to last for 30 minutes to count for a valid record attempt. Last year the attempt saw 1500 people take part, including lots of families all having fun! It is not a gruelling fitness circuit, it will be easy to complete, but we need 2062 to achieve the record.
To take part in the record attempt, a £5 entry donation for adults and £1 for under 16’s is recommended. It is a voluntary donation so if you just want to just take part that’s fine. Cash donations will also be taken on the entrance gate on the day of the event. You can make your online donation at totalgiving.co.uk/mypage/georgiesrecord.
This donation will act as your intent to enter and it will then be a case of turning up on the day to register for the fitness circuit.
Thank you for your support and please please please get inviting as many people as possible. It will be a fantastic day with cake and sweet stalls, face painting, BBQ, raffles, fair ground rides and much much more.
